This game is totally my favorite on itch. Even though it's inspired by FNAF and Mandela Catalogue, it still feels like its own stand alone game. Not to mention, I love the Mandela Catalogue so this is perfect! I saw your comment on a YouTube video saying you're going to add some mechanics/items to make the game harder and more complicated, which I love. The graphics are awesome, the gameplay is really fun and keeps you on your toes, and I'm eager to see how this game evolves! Keep up the great work :)

This was cool! I got really into the discovery and how to survive the night. I just wish there was a LITTLE more to actually beating the game. Its very simple once you figure it out

Amazing game none the less, keep up the good work!

I love the mix between FNAF and Mandela Catalog! This was a really eerie experience and fit the analog horror genre FOR SURE! Keep up the great work my man!

Played this game for an hour (only because I became very confused on how to beat the game). But even through the frustration, I've enjoyed the game. Thank you.

Played this game on my Channel's Series called 3 SCARY GAMES! It's the 2nd game I play in the video and starts at 12:47, The Mandela Catalogue is a super intriguing idea, and playing a game to be immersed into that world is amazing!

Being a FNAF style game is also a really cool idea that could be amazing if perfected. The actual atmosphere, visuals, and setting are well made! It's the actual Gameplay I feel fell a bit short atm. After experiencing a few of the deaths in the game, you learn what you need to do right away at the beginning of the night like Boarding up windows, getting materials for Electrical, etc. But after that, there is not much else.. It turns into just a bunch of waiting around if anything is ever going to happen. I feel like adding the mechanic of having to repair the windows alone would make it way more satisfying experience.

Overall tho I think this game could have amazing potential and grow as the Mandela Catalouge story grows and evolves with it!

am i the only one having this problem ?

Hi! I fixed it. Now you Can download Mandela Invasion from Itch.io App.

thank you so much

Great concept and mechanics.Once you find out what you’re doing,it does get a little boring but overall worth the play!

Awesome game!

This just came out with the Vol 2 of the Mandela Catalog. Love every thing about the universe and Alex Kisters channel hoping for more game centralizing on the idea of this type of horror

hi, big thx for the game. greetings from rosti 🙏

Hey! I played your game on my stream! Watch it to see the live review!  Here's the link for it: https://www.twitch.tv/spacematterplay 😄

I would also appreciate if you could give an opinion on our latest game. Game devs advice is precious because we know better what it takes to make something work. It's called "Backdoor Shifts".

Yeah, I saw your stream. You know, it's funny, because this is my first game on Itch.io and i DIDN'T DO ANY MARKETING ;) Yeah, the only thing I do was publishing post on my Facebook page, on Twitter, releasing trailer on Youtube, I also post an info about the game on two or three subreddits. That's it. I wanted to see how people will react to it and how Itch.io works, because I want to publish here more games (not only free). The people in the comments were amazing, I saw almost every Mandela Invasion Let's Play on Youtube and I was impressed how quickly this game got its five minutes. I will check out "Backdoor Shifts" and give you my opinion :) Thanks!

Congratulations! It is really well made and enjoyable! Keep at the good work!

BRAVO

keep up the great work, you definitely have to keep working on this and maybe have some sort of sequel or even a full fledged game someday. This was a blast to play and can't wait to see what you do in the future.

MUCH LOVE

PF

Thanks!

The game was a lot more fun with the 1.4 update, adding the other events to manage stopped the game from running out of content. It was especially nice to see that the audio cues had different reaction times (e.g. The vent needs to be closed a few seconds after hearing the noise). I am curious where else you will take the game, like with the TV that won’t turn off, or having to listen for wooden boards being smashed so you need to keep on top of them.

Will watch out for any further progress.

Thanks! Maybe if I will have some time, I will add something more to the game. TV is there because of a new ending, but I don't want spoilers ;) Right now I started to working on another analog horror game, but now it will be FPP. Hope you will check it out too!

Just went back and found the TV ending, good job; thought I had broke the game when nothing was interactable; wish I'd thought of trying that before uploadin

Really amazing, never thought of a mix between FNAF and Mandela Catalogue would be made, to my surprise it's great. I've seen that you added two more alternates and new mechanic! i will be going back to this to complete it. 10/10

Played through the game but nothing happened, other than lights going out and someone was at the door.I think I boarded up the windows, and fixed the lights going out too fast and nothing happened, I stood around just waiting for something. Looking at other people’s playthroughs I seemed to have missed the attic through, that seems to lead nowhere ever. Just wondering if the game is still in development or if something bugged out?

(+1)

Thanks for playing! Yes, right now in v 1.3 there is only one way Alternates can get inside house. But I'm currently working on v 1.4 - there will be more alternates, new ending and new mechanics. So please, check out v 1.4 when it will be available!

Version 1.4 is available!

I really liked the concept here! However, the mouse cursor is really hard to see, and that kept me from really being immersed in the game. Thanks for the play!

(+1)

Hi! Thanks for playing! The game will soon receive an 1.4 update with more mechanics to make game harder, new jumpscares and ending. I will also change mouse cursor. Hope you will play in v 1.4!

Version 1.4 is available!

Oh cool! I'll put this on my list to give another whirl. Thanks for the update :)

(+2)

I really enjoyed the game, the mesh of the mandela catalogue concept with the point and click style aspect was genius. However, I noticed that the only way for the clone to get into the house is through the windows, and when you board all of them up, there isn't much of a threat afterwards. As a suggestion for the solution, adding another enemy that tears down the boards would allow for the player to have to constantly going through rooms, checking if the boards are gone. Another suggestion I have is to give the clone the ability to tear down boards and immediately shut off the power, instilling a panicking sense to the player since they now know that the clone is in the house and getting ready to strike. If you are curious as to my reaction to the rest of the game, I'll leave a link to the video down below, again I loved the game and if you ever improve it I'd love to check it out!
